GETTING TO ANTIGUA:

First of all, we should probably just reiterate that our wedding will be in Antigua, GUATEMALA, not Antigua the Caribbean island. Ok, so now that we have that clear, let's talk flights!

Clearly, you'll need a passport. *Said passport must be valid for at least 90 days following your departure from Guatemala.

You can not fly directly into Antigua, therefore you must search flights to Guatemala City, Guatemala. La Aurora International Airport (GUA) is where you will be flying into. From the airport it is a 45 minute car ride to Antigua. Taxis should cost about $20 a person, but we can also make other transportation arrangements (vans) for larger groups arriving at the same time. The average journey to Antigua from beginning to end takes about 10-12 hours.

Flights to Guatemala City usually go through ATL, Miami (MIA), Houston (IAH), Dallas (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX) and Mexico City. Many airlines fly to GUA- AeroMexico, Delta, American, Taca, United, Spirit, Continental and more.

Ticket prices should range between $450-$650. We recommend regular searches and price alerts for when fares drop. We realize this is not cheap airfare and we appreciate you so much for even considering this voyage!
